Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - Isle of Wight Branch

About us

The RSPCA Isle of Wight branch is an independently registered, island based charity supporting the islands most vulnerable animals. We rely on the generosity of our community to deliver our daily care and all monies raised on the island, remain on the island, to support abandoned, abused and orphaned domestic, farm and wild animals.

To help support our busy animal centre team of staff and volunteers we recently opened our cattery, wildlife and reception area's.  We are situated between Godshill and Rookley at the junction of Merstone Lane on the A3054.

We provide care and assistance to animals in need on the island. We also promote humane education, advocacy and social justice.  We provide animal welfare boarding through the Isle of Wight Social Care teams for companion animals of individuals hospitalised due to health concerns and individuals fleeing from domestic violence.

Our branch is run by an elected group of volunteers which make up our committee and we are responsible for raising money to support our animal welfare work. This is done through our charity shops, fundraising events, legacies and donations.
